My trip of the year is over already, it went by very quickly this time and it was very fun.
Photos were very productive, I was heavily inspired by a few books ~
pjc10 had brought along, they are more artistic/thoughtful/interesting/abstract than before, some are heavily abstract/conceptual/simplistic/random which was very fun and interesting to experiment with. I also grew on my tried and true nature/architecture shots and took many people shots as well. But experimenting in new areas is always the most fun/mysterious.
For the first time ever I tried talking to a couple random people (yes I speak a little Portuguese) I saw sitting outside a cafe and getting to know them for a bit before asking for a photo. They had very good results, and I was definitely awarded for my efforts in terms of photos. Its different than the usual more fast paced "street" photos Ive been playing with.
Anyway, enough about the photos, the beach was awesome, the women in Europe are always beautiful and the fashion is a little different. Sunglasses in Europe, can be summed up in one word, HUGE! My GOD! Those sunglasses cover half the face, I was quite surprised. I like big sunglasses, but big sunglasses here in Canada/North America only qualify as average size in Europe haha.
I'm all out of gas for now, Ive been up since 1am local time, tada for now
Oh one more thing, well its quite big news, I got my first real photography freelance job confirmed, I will be shooting the Wakestock here in Toronto for SBC Magazine, the one sponsoring the damn event! Very huge news, well be extremely fun

This text does not describe how eternally excited I am to shoot an event I love to shoot
Now its tada for now. Past two weeks been good for everyone else?
